Brian A. Williams is Assistant Director and Archivist for University History at the University of Michigan’s Bentley Historical Library. He currently leads the Bentley’s African American Student Project (aasp.bentley.umich.edu). He is the author of “An Unwritten Law” in the Library’s Collections magazine. For our Wednesday noon lecture, he will talk about the early struggle to allow African American students to live in University dormitories.
