The Kempf House will be open for tours from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm when we take part in the Ann Arbor’s 200th Birthday Celebration and Picnic at Liberty Plaza. Lucy Ann Lance will emcee the event, music will be provided by the Ralph McKee Blues Band, Norm Tyler will give an overview of the recently released A2 Smart Tours and Christine Crocket will preview the A200 Bicentennial Quiz. Liberty Street between Division and Fifth Avenue will be closed and filled with tables and chairs. Water and a birthday cake will be provided, and carry-out meals will be available for sale from local restaurants. Or, bring a picnic lunch! For more information check out a2bicentennial.org/events.
